The Programme is structured into three (3) semesters and each semester corresponds to thirty (30) credit units (ECTS). In order to obtain the Postgraduate Diploma, postgraduate students must:
a) attend and successfully pass eight (8) six-month postgraduate courses in their specialization. Specifically, in the first (A) semester, they must successfully pass four (4) courses, of which two (2) are mandatory and two (2) are elective, and in the second (B) semester, four (4) elective courses, or three (3) elective courses and an internship in accordance with the provisions of the Programme Operation Regulation and
b) to prepare a Postgraduate Diploma Thesis during the third (3rd) semester, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of Operation of the Programme, the topic of which is informally defined in consultation with the proposed supervisor at the end of the second (2nd) semester and formally finalized at the beginning of the third (3rd) semester.
The total of eight (8) courses corresponds to sixty (60) ECTS [thirty (30) ECTS per semester], while the postgraduate diploma thesis corresponds to thirty (30) ECTS, and therefore the Programme corresponds to a total of ninety (90) ECTS units.
The courses are held in person.
The official language of the program is Greek and the language of the postgraduate thesis is Greek or a different language after a reasoned recommendation from the supervising professor and approval by the Coordinating Committee.
Each student of the Programme declares at the beginning of each semester the elective courses they will attend, while they may choose a maximum of one (1) elective course from the other specialization. In the compulsory courses, students are automatically registered by the Secretariat upon their registration in the Programme.
In order for an elective course to be held, at least three (3) people must declare it.
